The St. Jude-PIDS Pediatric Infectious Diseases Research Conference celebrates its 25th year of education, collaboration, and innovation. The milestone meeting will convene March 4-6, 2026 in Memphis, TN and virtually.
To kick off this special anniversary year, there will be a Pre-Conference Career Development Event for Trainees on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the Peabody Memphis. This event includes a career panel, guided conversation on special topics, networking opportunities, personalized discussions and direct engagement with faculty (in-person only).
Registration
In-person or virtual registration is now open. In-person registration will close at 3:00 p.m. CT, Monday, February 16, 2026. Virtual registration will remain available throughout the conference.
Travel Stipends
Travel stipends of $1,000 USD were offered to accredited Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship Training Programs (not individuals) based in the United States or Canada. A maximum of 35 stipends are available on a first come, first served basis. Submission deadline was 11:00 p.m. ET on November 16. Notifications to be sent the first week of December.

The official hotel for the 25th Annual St. Jude/PIDS Pediatric Infectious Diseases Research Conference will be The Peabody Hotel (map). A room block has been established and can be accessed here. The window to book at the special room rate is Sunday, February 8, 2026.

Accreditation Statement
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

meetID Program at St. Jude/PIDS Pediatric Infectious Diseases Research Conference
Applications for the PIDS meetID program for premedical/medical students or residents interested in a program that provides a broad overview of pediatric infectious diseases (PID), career exploration in PID, support and resources needed to excel in science and medicine, and an opportunity to network with other trainees, faculty, and PIDS leadership are now closed. The deadline to apply for this competitive, engrossing program was November 7.
Recipients receive complementary conference registration and a stipend to help cover travel, lodging and/or incidental charges.
