2026 SALUD Summit

Washington, DC
Apr. 18 - 20, 2026

The Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) will host its 4th annual Student Advocacy, Leadership, Unity, and Diversity Summit (SALUD) April 18-20 in Washington, DC. This summit brings together students, physicians, advocates, and partners who are deeply committed to health equity, community-centered care, and building sustainable pipelines for Latino/a/x physicians and leaders.

The Summit will feature dynamic workshops, policy-focused discussions, community-driven service, and opportunities to connect with future healthcare leaders from across the country. More than an event, SALUD is a space rooted in shared purpose that brings students and individuals who are highly motivated to make meaningful change and celebrates collective impact and commitment to the communities served.

Attending the 2026 SALUD Summit will provide students with hands-on training to drive meaningful change at the political, academic, institutional, and personal levels. The weekend will feature an inspiring keynote address, advocacy skill-building workshops, discussions on pressing health policy issues, and opportunities for networking and engagement during the exhibitor fair, research symposium, and annual Capitol Hill visits.
