The International RSV Symposium brings together leading RSV researchers, clinicians, and public health experts from around the world. This four-day scientific meeting will include the latest research on RSV and other respiratory viruses, in thematic sessions.
Advances in immunization strategies, monoclonal antibodies, vaccines and implementation science are reshaping the RSV landscape, and this meeting will provide a unique forum to reflect, debate and define the next steps of the RSV journey. A wide range of RSV topics, from fundamental biology to medical interventions, will be discussed, along with hMPV.
The Chanock Award (named after Dr. Robert M. Chanock) is the RSV Society’s highest honor. At RSV 2027, the award will honor two internationally recognized physician-scientists and pediatric infectious disease leaders, including PIDS member Professor Pedro A. (Tony) Piedra of Baylor College of Medicine.
