Are you interested in expanding your horizons with pediatric ID specialists from a different part of the world? Consider a clinical exchange through a new initiative of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS) and the Australia-New Zealand Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (ANZPID). Our societies are encouraging bilateral international exchanges among pediatric ID physicians in the United States, Australia, and New Zealand, either by traveling to Australia or New Zealand yourself or by hosting a pediatric ID colleague from there at your institution in North America.
Open to PIDS and ANZPID members, the 1-2 week exchanges at participating sites allow pediatric ID specialists to learn firsthand about clinical issues and innovative programs their colleagues across the globe encounter and to share their own experiences. Exchanges are available on a rolling basis. All expenses are incurred by program participants or their institutions. Candidates for exchanges must comply with institutional and country legal requirements before acceptance by the hosting institution.
To learn more about participating sites, including particular clinical and research interests, patient and consult volumes, local requirements, and contacts for more information about exchange logistics, see the individual site links in the list below.
