MAJOR FEATURES OF TRAINING PROGRAM: The New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus is a major tertiary care center in the New York metropolitan area. The pediatric service includes a 20 bed PICU and a 50 bed NICU. The Division of Pediatric Infectious Disease consultation service serves over 350 patients a year. The major outpatient program, The Program for Children and Adolescents with AIDS, cares for over 250 children infected and affected with AIDS. The fellowship is three years in length, with the first year being primarily the consultation service. The remaining two years are spent in research, either in laboratory (located within the division, or in conjunction with Rockefeller University ) or in clinical research.
