The Research in Academic Pediatrics Initiative on Diversity (RAPID) award facilitates the recruitment and retention of underrepresented in medicine (URiM) fellows and faculty in pediatric infectious diseases. We are pleased to announce the opening of the application window for 2024.
Historically disadvantaged and groups underrepresented in medicine (URiM) may face unique challenges garnering research support and transitioning to faculty. They would benefit tremendously from programs specifically designed for their retention. PIDS, with support from Sanofi, has partnered with the APA to offer this opportunity.
