About PIDS Membership

Our members are leaders across the global scientific and public health spectrum, with expertise in clinical care, advocacy, academics, government and pharmaceutical issues.

From fellowship training to continuing medical education, research to regulatory issues and guideline development, PIDS members are the core professionals advocating for the improved health of children with infectious diseases, both nationally and around the world.  They lead critical public health advisory committees that determine best practices in the treatment and prevention of infectious diseases in children, including immunization and antibiotic resistance, and the education of pediatricians.
