Call for IDWeek-PIDS Vice Chair-elect Position

The PIDS Board of Directors and Program and Meetings Committee is seeking nominations for the PIDS Vice Chair-elect to the IDWeek Planning Committee. If you are interested in being considered for this role, please read the selection criteria below. Selection Criteria

The current ​PIDS IDWeek Chair/Vice-Chair/Vice-Chair-elect will use the following eligibility criteria in identifying up to 3 nominees for the Vice-Chair Elect position and those names will be sent to the PIDS Board for consideration.

1. Prior service on the PIDS Programs and Meetings Committee – minimum of 2 years prior experience; can be current or prior member of committee.
2. Prior service as IDWeek Abstract reviewer. Prior PAS Abstract reviewer will also be considered.
3. Prior experience on a conference programming committee (either PIDS, IDSA, PAS, regional or institutional).
4. Track record of inclusiveness and working well with others.
5. Addition of diversity to our Program and Meetings Committee and to PIDS IDWeek leadership.
6. Other personal leadership qualities.
