27th Annual Pediatric Infectious Diseases Update

The 27th Annual Pediatric Infectious Diseases Update will cover topics of interest to pediatricians, family physicians, and other primary care providers for children and young adults. Speakers cover the most recent information on diagnosis, management, and prevention of infections in pediatrics. Discussion of controversial issues and questions follow each presentation.

In person and virtual attendance options are available.

The event (Learning Packet with schedule) will begin with registration and breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by the first lecture at 8:00 a.m., and will conclude with the final lecture, which starts at 3:50 p.m. All times listed are local/Mountain Daylight Time.

Learning Objectives

  • Discuss updates on prevention and management of Measles.
  • Review best practices for discussing vaccines with vaccine-hesitant families.
  • Describe the newest evidence-based recommendations for diagnosis and management of skin and soft tissue infections.
  • Discuss newest evidence and best practices for the diagnosis and management of sinusitis, pneumonia, tickborne diseases and common pediatric infections.
  • Discuss updates on prevention and management of influenza and SARS-CoV-2.
  • Discuss recent ACIP Updates.

Continuing medical education credits are available through Children’s Hospital Colorado, which is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. This live activity has been designated for 7.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) ™ and 7.25 ABP Part 2 MOC Points.
